EvC

@v#

SvB

These three final pieces, SvB@v# and EvC are all different in concept but are the same in design. I wanted to do iconic symbols/ duos, but at the same time represent there own styles. I played out the same format or design for each, all three are in a diagonal slant from the bottom left, to the top right.
They have a pattern of sequence. I placed each part according to design placement and color scheme in order to let the colors stand out and also be emphasized. I would defiantly say that these projects are a representation of color, pattern, iconic symbol, and placement. All in design.

PS

I was able to create a 3-d shape , inspired from the Sony dual shock 4. It was relatively hard to create do to the viewing perspective, the remote is faced forward towards the viewer. which makes it look more 2-D, but it still resembles a 3-D object.

Day 10

Tranquil

I am finally finished with this piece. It is not what I initially had for my original concept, but I made changes. On my original, I wanted a combat type scene, where the viewer was going to see the face off before the fight, but I strayed away from that idea and moved towards a more peaceful scene, which I'm glad I did. I wanted some color in, but I also like the whole black and white scale, so I just decided to emphasis the pink in the flowers of the tree. With the " at ease" monk, gleaming, calm waters and shining sun. It all is just Tranquil.

Day 9

I am almost done, just need to to add one more element to finally complete my drawing project. I have decided on something a little different then my original project idea.

Day7

I need to still work on details on the stones and path way. I am going to start to take this project home with me so that I can work on it some more. Next time hope fully I'll be done with that path way.

Day 6

I worked on the background some more. I did the reflection of the mountains and the water detail. I also painted the gate way and still working on cleaning it up a bit.

Day 5

Finally, I was able to work on other parts of the drawing besides the path way and gate way. I'm getting more excited every day I get closer to finishing and seeing my end result.

Day 4

I finished the gate way. got the hardest part out of the way. It took a bit to finish because of all the fine lines and details, but its about done, so I think?

Day 3
Worked on more detail in the shading, using lines.

Day 2
I just did more detail on the gate way. It was very tedious to do all the line from the photo. Figured I did it first, to get it over with.

Day 1
(Drawing Project PS)

I wanted to do a theme of a battle or war scene, since the project required us to tell a story in our drawing.  While I was brain storming ideas on what to draw, I decided to do a medieval Japanese fight scene. I wanted a full suited samurai warrior and a common, nomadic-type, traveler with a straw hat, with his sword ready to fight. I have not really started to draw out the lines and details yet, I am just laying out the design.
Depth of Field

Symmetry

This photo was taken in the SLIB building, in the library. this photo has symmetry and a liner perspective.

Shattered Pink Flower

This piece uses transparency and adjustment layers. I took this flower photo on my college South Campus. I really wanted to emphesize the large cluster of pink flowers on the top left, I then used shattered glass as a layer and texture to bring out the vivid pink-ness.
Funky Town Shades

I put a photo of down-town Fort Worth, Texas (Funky Town), and placed them on a woman's sunglass lenses.
